New Splash Screen For Adobe Photoshop & Dreamweaver CS6

I just installed my copy of Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver CS6. So far everything is running smooth, I have been using the beta to create some of the latest YouTube channel themes, so I am quite comfortable with it already. New thing is Dreamweaver which gives a nice first impression. Something that always thrills me is the next design for the creative suite. Here’s the splash screens for both programs:

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Splash Screen:

Fantastic abstract artwork around the Photoshop start-up information. It has lines and bulky leaf-like objects that is quite inspiring. Too bad I have an SSD, I barley get to see this for a second.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 Splash Screen:

The Dreamweaver splash screen is not as decorated as for Photoshop. Instead, it has a more subtle effect which makes me think about the internet, a grid of dots resembling websites. It looks futuristic like The Matrix in some ways.

What do you think about the new Adobe CS6 version? Post your comments below please.

I took the screenshots after starting each program, I have no idea where the images are actually stored within the app.

I’m viewing the Illustrator Splash screen image right now, it’s in Program Files>Adobe>Adobe Illustrator CS6 (64 Bit)>Support Files>Content>Windows>ai_cs6_splash.png.
Just go through the Program Files>Adobe or Program Files (x86)>Adobe folders you should be able find them in their respective program folders.
I’m actually working on replacing a few of the somewhat hideous splash screens.

On the other hand, I think these screens are an eye sore. Too much contrast, too much elements. It’s just too much of everything.

“Too bad I have an SSD, I barley get to see this for a second.”

You must be quite a latecomer in the world of SSD that you felt the need to brag about it….yawn.
